2026 MEMBERSHIP DUES

All memberships include 5 beach tags for the members of one immediate household.  

New members will receive plastic tags (at no charge) with current 2026 decals. 

Renewing members will receive 2026 DECALS to place on their plastic tags to show current paid membership. 

IF YOU NEED REPLACEMENT PLASTIC TAGS, ORDER THEM FOR A $5 FEE.

You do not have to be a Sound Beach resident to join SBPOA. Residents of surrounding communities are welcome to join SBPOA as Access Members . Access Membership includes beach access and discounted Clubhouse rentals. However, Access Members, like tenants in Sound Beach, cannot vote or join the Board of Directors.

US Armed Forces Veteran Membership is for a family in which one or more members of the household are veterans who served in the US armed services. 

Proof of  veteran status must be submitted once. Photograph or scan proof of service and send to membership@sbpoa.org, or mail to PO Box 213, Sound Beach, NY 11789

Service Membership is for a family in which one or more members of the household are volunteer firefighters in Sound Beach or another local community, or currently serving in the US armed services. 

Proof of  service must be submitted annually. Photograph or scan proof of service and send to membership@sbpoa.org, or mail to PO Box 213, Sound Beach, NY 11789

Senior Membership is for a family in which one or more  household members is older than 65. Proof of age must be submitted once and then is kept on record going forward. Photograph or scan proof of age and send to membership@sbpoa.org, or mail to PO Box 213, Sound Beach, NY 11789.

Kayak, Paddleboard, and Canoe rack spots are $25 each. All watercraft must show a 2026 SBPOA Sticker.

Rowboat, Sailboat, etc. storage permits are $50. Limit one per membership. All watercraft must show a 2026 SBPOA Sticker.
