Dear SBPOA Kayak Owner,
One of the benefits of your SBPOA membership is the opportunity to store your kayak at the west beach on one of our bulkhead racks at no additional charge. If you want a second spot (based on availability), there will be a $25 fee. Apply for one or more spots on the racks by completing an application form.
Members in good standing who had a rack spot in the previous year and renew by April 1 will be given the same spot unless a change is requested and the new location is available. Kayak spots are limited and are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis to new or renewing members after that date.
Please keep boats locked at all times when not in use. Be sure that your boat is tagged with a sticker showing your tag number and contact information. Be safe and wear a personal flotation device (PFD) whenever you use your boat.
To prevent the rack damage experienced in recent years during the late fall and winter storms, all boats on the SBPOA racks must be removed by November 1 . If you need assistance removing your boat, contact SBPOA at firstname.lastname@example.org in advance of that date.
If your boat is not removed by November 1, SBPOA reserves the right to remove and confiscate your boat for resale at the next Trash and Treasure sale.
Thanks for your cooperation.
Desiree Nigro, Kayak Coordinator
